Effects of An Ear-piece

Salutations all,

The Big Day is coming, 35 more days to be exact.

I am still composed amidst the little hiccups here and there but something got me emo while riding on the way home but somehow made me smiled later.

While I was listening to the limited song playlist of mine from my handphone, the song 'Bila Aku Jatuh Cinta' by Nidji played. The 'surround effects' of wearing a helmet and the plugging of the earpiece sort of made the song felt alive. Amidst listening to it many times, I never had a sudden rush of emotions overcoming me just by that song.

For a moment, flashbacks of our first date where I realised that she was somewhat familiar and all came to mind. The LRT rides, the late night drives, our initial dates, the Bangkok trips, our 'neo print' moments, the movies watching, our crappy moments, the making funny faces part, our fave fast food moments, irritating the hell out of each other part and importantly the loving each other part always. *shy grins*

bila aku jatuh cinta…
jatuh cintabersama dirimu
peluk aku…dan ciumlah aku
sayang…

Ask Me How to Be A Hero

Greetings everyone,

Its one of those random moments where I decide to update my blog yet again.

I must admit that I am a huge fan of the series Prison Break and Heroes. Its amazing yet fascinating how the creators or the writers come out with materials to keep fans like me drooling and craving for the next episode. The comic-like way as how the series Heroes is based upon somehow reminds me that Spiderman 3 is opening in May this year. After the Big Day is over. Yeay!!!

For now, I'll prob sleep and dream about being a hybrid hero of Peter Parker and Peter Petrelli. *Sleepy grins*

Oh anyway, I was given a Polo-T with the same title above at the back of it.

Never wore it before.

Yet to discover my special ability.

Hur hur

come on arsenal!

hey everyone,

let me begin this post by commenting a bit on Mourinho's comments ahead of the north london derby tomm night.

Asked if he would like to emulate the eye-catching football of Arsenal's 'Invincibles' of three seasons ago, when the Gunners went through an entire Premiership campaign unbeaten, Mourinho replied: 'Pretty when they were champions without defeat, yes. Not pretty when they finish fourth, not pretty when they had to win their last game to qualify for the Champions League.'

Aksyen seh ni mourinho.

Anyway...although i am a bit offended with his sarcastic remarks, I have to admit that somehow he has a point. Just hope it will 'spur' the gunners on, like last weekend's derby.

On a serious note, my mom has left for Hajj to do her pilgrimmage on Thurs morning. I was overjoyed and relieved when she called home yesterday afternoon at 1319hrs to update us that everything is well with her. May all of us 'doa' for her good health when she's there. Insya Allah.

p.s: With regards to my last few post on my agenda for the week.
Tuesday: Blank to be filled
The answer is: Registering for the Big Day with love and her dad! All went well. Alhamdulilah!

p.s.s: 140 more days... Tick tock tick tock....

16430

16430, my half marathon tag number.

Alhamdulilah I manage to complete it in 2hrs 20 mins 23secs. Self clocked time. Guess I have to wait for the official results and see if it tally.

Back track a little, the gunners won the North Lodon derby by 3 nil yesterday. Not a comprehensive victory but I hope it will boost the morale for the cruncher against Porto to ensure qualification to the next round of the Champs Leauge.

Did sleep for a good 5 hours before waking up at 4am, bought bananas when topping up the petrol before picking up Irfan at 5am. Prayed Subuh at Sultan mosque before 'kelam kabut-ing' to Shaw Building to park and then jogged to the starting point, Esplanade Drive.

Even manage to wave at love who was at the opposite road, Suntec. Still on duty. Hehe.

There were lots and lots of people when we got there. Clear off excess waste water before doing last minute stretching. Soon we were off. It was a marvellous run as a whole, good running company, ample drinking points, the power gel works wonder and thankfully nice weather to round it all up.

Counting down to 2007 marathon.

p.s: Thanks to Irfan for being equally crappy and high spirits throughout the run. Sorry that I had to 'ditch' you in the last 5 km of the run. Looking forward to celebrating 20 years of friendship with a successful completing of 2007 marathon. Insya Allah.

p.s.s: Thanks to love for logistics arrangement; running attire and tranport. Your encouragement sms-es spurred me on. Join me soon? *Inviting smiles*

For bubu,

and the truth unfolds

After almost a year of inactivity, I decide to resume this online journal of mine.

2 reasons for this, One: I am starting to get clueless of what's going on in the course that I am attending; and Two: I am quite exhausted after this morning run-walk-jog session.

A year that has passed has brought many memories which I will try to extract and share randomly here if my memory permits. Before I begin to dwell too much on the past, let us look forward to the upcoming events in this coming week or so.

Today: Curry Puffs Day
Thurs: Off Day
Fri: Work
Sat: Attend Wedding/ North London Derby
Sun: Half Marathon/ Another wedding
Mon: Work
Tues: Blank to be filled
Wed: Send Mak's luggage to airport
Thurs: Mak off for Hajj
Fri: Son missing his mom already

That's about it now. Will elaborate further soon..

perhaps perhaps perhaps

I know its been a while since I failed to archive my random yet creative thoughts.

First and foremost, here is wishing all muslims Selamat Hari Raya Aidilfitri + Maaf Zahir Batin.

The initials bit of the 1st of Syawal has been productively spent on helping my mom with the housekeeping. Sigh, what to do. My parents only daughter has been married for 4 years. Actually I never mind all the cleaning bit. As a matter of fact, I take pride in the cleaning bit especially when it comes to my room.

Guess the only outstanding two things with regards to the house is; one, to get new couch set and paint the doors. I better be mindful to add to the probably ever increasing To-Do List of mine. Next year?

On a serious note, the beau apparently seems to be disturbed with an issue that came up on our most recent coffee sessions. Sheesh, for the first time I am feeling this strange excitement of discovering this journey of the relationship.

Welcome to Hal and Fad's Excellent Adventures!

p.s: Love, of course I remember "that" day! *grins*

farewell to velcro wallets

After almost 2 decades of using such wallets which makes the "kruish kruish" sound, I have moved on to a gentlemanly looking wallet. Thank you to Ju-Man and beau for the leather wallet.

A slight problem though since there is the "kecing-kecing" sound made by the small change in my trousers pockets. *evil smiles*

p.s: Turning 25 on the 4th has been a blissful day despite having to work. Thank you all for the gifts and the best wishes.

p.s.s: I have 2 non-similar looking Arsenal mugs now. Hurray!
